Clarity are currently recruiting for an agency Triage Nurse for Virtual ED shifts in Dublin. This is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse with a passion for emergency medicine and wants to work as part of a new and exciting initiative.
The ideal candidate should be/have:
- Registered General Nurse(NMBI with a minimum of 3 years post registration experience
- Eligible to work in Ireland
- ED or acute care background essential (ED, MAU, urgent care settings)
- Demonstrated experience in telecare or remote nursing roles (minimum 1 year
- preferred)
- Familiarity with digital tools for documentation, remote monitoring, or video triage
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and independent decision-making skills
- Experience using Manchester Triage System or equivalent tools (desirable)
Responsibilities:
- Perform remote triage assessments using digital health platforms, telehealth
- protocols, and contactless vital signs monitoring
- Use AI-enabled tools and structured triage pathways to categorize patients and
- determine the urgency of care
- Escalate high-acuity cases to ED consultants or senior registrars in line with clinical
- governance protocols
- Manage non-urgent presentations with appropriate advice, referrals, or discharge
- pathways
- Document clinical decisions in line with regulatory and international standards
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary virtual care team (ED consultants, ANPs,
- admin) to ensure safe and efficient patient flow
- Participate in continuous quality improvement, audit, and service innovation
