Clarity Group is a fast-growing, technology-driven recruitment agency specialising in the placement of staff in the pharmacy and nursing sectors across the UK and Ireland, on both temporary and permanent contracts. As we grow, we are investing heavily in smarter systems, automation, and the safe adoption of AI to make our business more efficient and our people more effective.
We are now seeking a Tech Support, Automation & AI Lead to join our team. This is a newly created role that blends day-to-day IT support with a strategic focus on process automation and AI. The successful candidate will be the first line of support for internal staff on technical issues, the bridge between our teams and external developers, and the driving force behind automating workflows and embedding safe, practical AI solutions into the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with both hands-on technical problem-solving skills and the vision to transform how a business operates through smarter use of technology.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal staff across Ireland, the UK, and Portugal for technical queries, troubleshooting, and system issues.
  • Provide support across hardware, software, and key business platforms (CRM, recruitment systems, communication tools, etc.).
  • Train and upskill staff on system use, best practices, and new tools.
  • Maintain documentation of common technical issues and solutions.
Automation & Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for automation across compliance, HR, recruitment, and back-office workflows.
  • Design, test, and implement automated processes (using tools such as Google Scripts, Make.com, Zapier, or Power Automate).
  • Ensure automation projects deliver measurable efficiency improvements and free up staff for higher-value work.
  • Document workflows and ensure processes are scalable and reliable.
AI Adoption & Governance
  • Research, test, and recommend AI tools that could improve productivity and candidate experience (e.g. document processing, candidate communication, knowledge management).
  • Liaise with the GDPR lead, Compliance and HR to ensure safe AI adoption, ensuring compliance with data protection, GDPR, and ethical standards.
  • Develop clear guidelines and training for staff on responsible use of AI tools.
  • Monitor and report on AI tool performance and business impact.
Dev Team Liaison
  • Act as the bridge between internal business teams and external developers.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
  • Manage communications, priorities, and timelines with the development team.
  • Test and feedback on new system features and integrations before rollout.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
  • Strong experience in IT support and troubleshooting for business users.
  • Proven ability to implement or manage process automation tools.
  • Familiarity with AI applications in business (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills — able to explain tech clearly to non-tech staff.
  • Experience working with external developers.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
  • Able to build trust and rapport with colleagues at all levels.
  • Social and collaborative working style
  • Patient and supportive, with a genuine interest in helping non-technical staff feel confident with technology.
  • Balances professionalism with a friendly approachable manner.
Desirable:
  • Experience in recruitment or healthcare sector.
  • Project management skills.
  • Knowledge of data protection and GDPR best practices.
  • Experience scripting or light coding (Python, JavaScript, SQL etc.).
What We Offer
  • Remote working flexibility - This is a primarily remote role, with a day in our Dublin offices required once per week.
  • Opportunity to be part of an international, growing, tech-focused recruitment agency.
  • Individual training and development plans to support career growth.
  • A collaborative and dynamic team environment.
  • Social events
