Support Pharmacist - Tullamore, Co. Offaly

Clarity is recruiting a Support Pharmacist for a pharmacy in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

What you need to know:
This is a permanent, full-time position with a negotiable salary depending on experience. Saturdays are shared on a rolling basis across the team, with each pharmacist covering roughly one Saturday a month, and two Saturdays during the third month of the rotation. No Sundays, late nights and Bank Holidays are required. MPS is the dispensing system used.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing prescription and OTC medicines accurately and efficiently
• Providing patient counselling and advice on medication use
• Supporting the Supervising Pharmacist with day-to-day pharmacy operations
• Assisting with stock management and pharmacy administration
• Delivering pharmacy services (e.g. blood pressure monitoring, minor ailment consultations) as required
• Ensuring compliance with pharmacy legislation and standard operating procedures

Requirements:

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy community pharmacy setting
• Flexibility to participate in the Saturday rota
