Supervising Pharmacist (3-month contract) - Waterford

Clarity is recruiting a Supervising Pharmacist for a pharmacy in Waterford!

About the Role: 
This is a 3-month fixed-term contract running from January 2026 to March 2026, offered on a full-time basis of 30 hours per week spread across four working days. The pharmacy uses the MPS dispensing system, and you will be working alongside a supportive team of four shop staff on interchangeable shifts, a highly experienced pharmacy technician, and the pharmacist owner. There is a possibility for the role to become permanent after the first week of March, depending on performance.

* The schedule will include two-day shifts from 9:00am to 5:30pm with a one-hour break, and two late shifts from 1:30pm to 10:00pm with a one-hour break, with one of the late shifts falling on every other Saturday.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service to all customers in accordance with the pharmacy guidelines.
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers.
• Engage actively with customers to encourage customer loyalty and confidence.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels in the pharmacy ensuring the correct storage and monitoring of dated products.
• Managing the dispensary and staff
• Any other duties as required

What we require:

• Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
• At least 3 years post-registration experience
