Pharmacy Technician - East Clare

Clarity is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for a well-established, independent pharmacy based in East Clare, just 30 minutes from Limerick and 15 minutes from Ennis.

What you need to know:

This is a temporary contract role, full-time, 5 days per week, with the potential to become permanent, at a growing pharmacy in a quickly expanding rural setting. The role includes approximately 10 Saturdays per year on a rota basis, but Sundays, Bank Holidays, and late nights are not required. You'll be joining a young, dedicated team in a very pleasant working environment, with lots of guidance and encouragement from existing staff. MPS is the dispensing system used.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting one full-time and two part-time pharmacists with the dispensing and preparation of prescriptions
• Dealing with customer queries and providing advice on OTC medicines
• Assisting with procurement from wholesalers and stock management
• Preparing blister packs, and processing and tracking claims
• Answering phone calls and handling general queries

What we desire:

• A pleasant, friendly, and interested individual who will slot in seamlessly with the team
• Previous dispensary experience is preferable but not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player attitude

Salary is negotiable and based on experience.
