Clarity is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for a pharmacy in Coolock, Dublin 5.
What you need to know:
This is a permanent full-time role (40h per week). No weekends, late nights, or bank holidays required. You’ll be working alongside a supportive and experienced team. The pharmacy uses the MPS dispensing system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Pharmacist in the day-to-day running of the dispensary.
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
- Provide information and advice to patients under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
- Process claims under the HSE reimbursement schemes (PCRS), ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Maintain stock levels through ordering and inventory control, including checking expiry dates and ensuring proper storage.
- Answer phone calls and assist with patient and prescriber queries professionally.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements in the pharmacy.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Assist with front-of-shop tasks when required.
What we're looking for:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and also independently.
- A proactive attitude with a strong focus on patient care and customer service.
What we require:
- Higher certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies in Ireland.
- At least 1 year' Irish Pharmacy Technician experience.
Salary is negotiable and based on experience.
