Pharmacy Operations Manager - Donegal

Clarity is looking for a Store / Pharmacy Operations Manager for a busy pharmacy in Donegal.

What you need to know:
This is a non-clinical, senior operational role responsible for ensuring the smooth and consistent running of a multi-site community pharmacy group (4 sites). You will work closely with the Managing Director to translate strategic direction into day-to-day operational execution, driving standards, efficiency, and profitability across the business.

Main responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations across a 7-day pharmacy business, ensuring consistency and performance visibility
• Coordinate Manager Pharmacists, Retail Supervisors, and their teams, including rotas, scheduling, and cover planning
• Lead performance management conversations fairly and consistently
• Build, maintain, and own the operational scorecard and SOPs
• Ensure high standards of regulatory compliance, clinical governance, and patient safety
• Manage digital operations, including eCommerce and online prescription services
• Maintain strong customer service and retail standards across all sites
• Drive financial performance through cost control, margin discipline, and operational efficiency
• Identify operational issues early and ensure timely resolution

What we require:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmacy or multi-site healthcare retail operations
• Proven people-management and performance management experience
• Strong understanding of community pharmacy workflows and compliance
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites

Salary is negotiable and based on experience!
