Clarity are currently recruiting for a Paediatric Community Nurse based in West Dublin
Responsibilities include
- Provide nursing care to a child
- Gastrostomy tube feeds via feeding pump
- Competent in all tracheostomy care, changing of ties, suctioning and changing tube in an emergency situation
- Management and administration of nebs and suctioning
- Monitoring for signs and symptoms of respiratory distress
- Pressure area care
- Medication Management
- Seizure management
- Care of a child with a disability
- Manage enteral feeding and medication
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Manage seizures
- Provide play and family support
- Provide excellent evidence-based nursing care, implementing all aspects of care plans based on the needs identified.
- Prioritise the needs and comfort of the client.
- Promote abilities, independence, and safeguard the client’s interests at all times
The ideal candidate will have:
- RGN/RCN qualified
- NMBI registered
- Must have a full driver's license and car
- Previous experience in home care is an advantage
