Clarity Locums is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for a 3-month full-time temporary management position within an Intellectual Disability Residential Unit in Navan, Co. Meath.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with previous management experience and a strong understanding of HIQA regulations and standards applicable to residential disability services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining high standards of person-centred care.
Please note: PIC registration will not be required for this position.
What We're Looking For:
- Current NMBI registration in good standing (Decision letters not accepted)
- Previous nursing management or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and standards relevant to disability services
- Previous experience in an intellectual disability or residential care setting is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage and support staff effectively
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Current NMBI registration
- Eligible to work in Ireland
- Previous management experience within a healthcare or residential care setting
- Knowledge of HIQA regulations and relevant legislation governing residential disability services
