Clarity is recruiting for a Dispenser on behalf of our client for a newly acquired online pharmacy based in Milton Keynes

What you need to know:
This is a permanent full time role, 35 hours a week. 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. No weekends

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Ensure accurate labelling and packaging of medications.
• Verify prescription information for completeness and accuracy..
• Receive and process prescription orders
• Maintain and update patient profiles with relevant information.
• Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Order and restock medications and supplies as needed.
• Check expiration dates and handle the disposal of expired or damaged medications.
• Complete and maintain accurate records of prescription transactions.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
• Adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Follow established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.

What we're looking for:
 

• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medications, and dosage forms.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software and computer systems.
• Display excellent attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy. 
• Minimum NVQ level 2 qualified or equivalent
