Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) - Roscommon

Clarity is currently recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) for a well-established nursing home based in Co. Roscommon.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse looking to step into or progress within a leadership role in the Care of the Older Person sector.

The ideal candidate must be/have:

• Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• A minimum of 5 years’ post-registration experience, ideally in care of the elderly services
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working at CNM level or similar leadership role
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and support care staff
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards and healthcare regulations
• Proven track record of achieving compliance in a similar setting
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to continuous learning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage clinical governance and promote best practice in patient care
• Strong IT and documentation skills

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing the care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents
• Supporting the Person in Charge in all aspects of clinical and operational management
• Ensuring full compliance with HIQA and all relevant regulations
• Monitoring care plans and ensuring resident safety, dignity, and well-being
• Conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting training, development, and supervision of nursing and care staff
• Promoting a positive, resident-centred culture within the home

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
