Rates of Pay:

• €35 per hour – Weekdays
• €70 per hour – Weekends

Duties

• Providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care to a private client
• Assessing, monitoring and reviewing the client's health needs
• Carrying out clinical observations and recording patient information accurately
• Administering medications and treatments safely and effectively
• Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living where required
• Monitoring and responding appropriately to changes in the client's condition
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation
• Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals involved in the client's care
• Supporting the client and their family with care and communication
• Maintaining a safe, clean and professional care environment
• Promoting the client's independence, dignity and overall wellbeing
• Adhering to NMBI standards, policies and procedures at all times

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in General Nursing and Active Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Minimum 6 months post-registration nursing experience
• Previous experience in private nursing, community nursing, homecare or a similar healthcare setting desirable
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and provide one-to-one nursing care
• Strong understanding of patient safety, confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Compassionate and person-centred approach to nursing care
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• Registered with Clarity Locums (or willing to register)
