Duties
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and acute healthcare needs
- Undertaking comprehensive nursing assessments and prioritising patient care
- Monitoring patients’ conditions and recognising signs of deterioration
- Administering medications and treatments safely and effectively
- Responding appropriately to urgent and changing patient needs
- Performing clinical observations and accurately documenting patient information
- Escalating concerns and changes in patient condition to the appropriate medical
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in General Nursing and Active Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
- Minimum 6 months post-registration nursing experience
- Previous Urgent Care, Emergency Department, Acute Medical or similar acute clinical experience is essential
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Experience recognising and responding to patient deterioration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Eligible to work in Ireland
- Registered with Clarity Locums (or willing to register)
