CNM2 Liaison Nurse – Children’s Disability Network Team, Athlone
Clarity Locums is seeking a dedicated CNM2 Liaison Nurse to join the Clonbrusk Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) based at the Clonbrusk Resource Centre, Athlone.
The Clonbrusk CDNT provides support to children and young people aged 0–18 years with complex needs arising from disability across Athlone, Moate, Ferbane and surrounding areas.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to take a leadership role within a dynamic interdisciplinary team, working collaboratively with children, young people, families and healthcare professionals across clinic, school, home and community settings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current NMBI registration in either the Intellectual Disability Nurses Division or Children’s Nurses Division
- Experience working with children with complex needs
- Experience of family-centred practice (Essential)
- Strong clinical, leadership and professional nursing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Commitment to evidence-based and child- and family-centred practice
- Ability to contribute to service development, supervision and training
- Access to own transport is essential
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with current NMBI registration in the Intellectual Disability or Children’s Nursing division
- CNM2 experience/qualification
- Experience working with children and young people with complex disabilities
- Eligible to work in Ireland
- Full access to own transport
