Clarity Locums are currently recruiting for Registered General Nurses (RGNs) for agency work within a respite centre in the Clare area.

Duties
- Providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care within a respite centre setting
- Assessing and monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing
- Carrying out clinical observations and monitoring patients’ conditions
- Recognising and responding appropriately to changes in patients’ clinical presentation
- Administering medications and treatments safely and effectively
- Supporting residents with their daily care needs and individual care plans
- Promoting patient safety, dignity and independence
- Liaising with GPs, families, healthcare professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation
- Working effectively as part of the nursing and care team across day, evening and night shifts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in General Nursing and Active Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Minimum 6 months post-registration nursing experience
- Previous experience in a residential, respite, community or similar care setting is desirable
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Experience recognising and responding to changes in patients’ clinical condition
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work a mix of day, evening and night shifts
- Eligible to work in Ireland
- Registered with Clarity Locums (or willing to register)
