Clarity is recruiting for an ACT on behalf of our client for a newly acquired online pharmacy based in Milton Keynes

What you need to know:
This is a permanent full time role, 35 hours a week. 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. No weekends

What you'll be doing:

The ACT is responsible for supporting the delivery of safe, effective and efficient pharmacy services. This includes a range of tasks, such as:

• Preparing and dispensing medicines
• Administering medicines
• Providing advice and support to patients on their medicines
• Managing the pharmacy inventory
• Maintaining the pharmacy records

Key Responsibilities 

• Prepare and dispense medicines in accordance with the patient's prescription and the relevant guidelines
• Administer medicines to patients as instructed by the doctor or nurse
• Manage the pharmacy inventory, ensuring that there are sufficient supplies of medicines to meet patient demand
• Maintain the pharmacy records, including prescription records, dispensing records, and patient medication histories
• Participate in continuing professional development activities to maintain and develop your skills and knowledge

What we Require:

• Diploma in Accuracy Checking Technician Studies or equivalent
• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
• 1-2 years' experience in a pharmacy setting
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
