Occupational English Test (OET)

OET is an international English language test, owned by Cambridge English Language Assessment and the Box Hill Institute, that assesses the language proficiency of healthcare professionals who seek to register and practise in an English speaking country.

OET has 12 versions of the test for different healthcare professions: Dentistry, Dietetics, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Radiography, Speech Pathology and Veterinary Science. And the test materials are designed to reflect real healthcare scenarios.

OET is available in 40 countries, including Ireland, UK, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Poland, Italy, etc.

Before taking the test it is important that you access your level of English. It is also important that you learn more about the test components so you know what to expect (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
